MCC presents MCCBeary’s 2014!
What is MCCBeary’s?
MCCBeary’s is MCC’s annual dinner held in the spring to commemorate all of our hard work for the past school year. Awards are passed out and clubs are appreciated! MCCBeary’s also serves as a transition ceremony from this year’s board to next year’s! After the formalities and nostalgia, we have a dance party! You don’t want to miss out on MCC’s biggest party of the year!
This year’s theme is… Night at the Oscars!

I want to thank you sincerely for joining us in our effort to make SCU a more inclusive community by speaking out against racism and discrimination and, most importantly, asking our student body to pledge to act.
Our Wake Up: Call to Action on Wednesday, April 30th generated almost 500 pledges and we distributed about 500 fliers as well! All this in the span of 3 hours is only possible because of YOU!
Thank you for dedicating your time and energy to be in solidarity with our students who continue to face discrimination and exclusion on our campus. It was remarkable to see your enthusiasm in sharing this information with students, determination regardless of students who shied away or made negative comments, and to feel your energy and passion throughout it all.
Let’s continue the conversation and continue to ACT. There will be a forum on Tuesday, May 6th from 6:30-7:30
that will focus on the SCU 2020 Strategic Plan goal of “Increasing diversity, access, and affordability,” which would be a great space to have a conversation with administration
about addressing these issues in a proactive manner. Please see the SCU page
or the outline
for more info.
“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed, citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.”
